Kunky's was founded by Julie
who began painting on sweatshirts as a hobby while attending court reporting
school. Painting for friends
and family quickly turned into a small home party business, no time for
court reporting. Julie did home parties for 10 years
before getting her retail location and production studio in downtown
Flushing, Michigan. There she was joined by her mother
who is also an artist and paints for Kunky's, and her husband who manages
shipping and accounting. Kunky's can now be found in
boutiques all across the U.S. We pride ourselves in original
artwork and on-time shipping.
